Foodtropolise Session 3
The group takes on a mystery after waking up from a car crash. The group is missing the food they just got and Angela! Where did she go? What happened here exactly? The group is on the case!
Voices of the Void
The group is quickly able to decern that the car crashed after running over a spike trap. The car’s trunk is open, the food is missing and the group has 3 clues:
- Pawprints, leading to a nearby diner.
- A piece of a coat with a tag that reads Heavy Threads.
- Lulu hears a voice coming from the nearby graveyard they crashed into.
The group goes to the graveyard first. They encounter a small camp with piled with trash. They also find a ghost. One of lulu’s long lost relatives. He explains that a creature in a big baggy coat often looks at the road from here. He called in to someone when the group crashed.
The group also finds more clues. each pointing to the diner and thrift shop once again. They decide to look in the diner this time.
Warren’s Meal
The Warpigs Diner is a beat down place with one staff member: Warren. The warthog greats the group and offers them a free meal because he is a fan of Ashe. Unfortunately, his cooking looks incredibly bad. The group tries to get info out of him but he is insistent that the group tries his meal first.
Having no choice, the group chows down on the dark mystery substance that Warren served them… Amazingly, its actually pretty good! The group eats their meal without issue and Warren happily tells them what he saw. He sometimes gets a group of trench coat wearing goons as customers. He also got a very fat orange cat as a customer earlier today. She was tired from chasing down the trench coats. She also left to Heavy Threads soon as she finished.
The group knew what they needed to do next…
Heavy Threads
Staffed by a hotty flamingo named Felicia, Heavy Threads is a thrift shop specializing in clothing.
Felicia hardly looked up from her magazine when the group entered. She also immediately got to insulting the group. The group exercised restraint and had Cornelius complement the gal. This flattery got her talking. She told the group about a gang of ferrets named the Lightweights that live in the abandoned warehouse.
With the last lead gotten, the group headed out to their final destination…
The Lightweights
Entering the run down and abandoned looking warehouse, the group walked forward for a while before seeing a lit area. Shouting and cursing her captures, Angela was tied up on the ground. The Ferrets where eating the food they had stolen. However, due to their long skinny frames, they each could only eat a few bites before getting full. The group had not even gotten through a full container.
Seeing the group, the four strongest of the Lightweights got up and started brawling. Unfortunately for them, Whip had brought along a rock from the graveyard and was itching to use it. She immediately knocked out one of the ferrets and was itching to knock out another. Ashe used her newly found heft to flatten one of them. Lulu shadow stepped and scared one to death. Finally, Cornelius rammed the last one into the wall.
Not satisfied with just knocking the gang leaders out, Whip ate them! Using her snake jaws to fit em all into her belly. Horrified, the rest of the Lightweights cleared out. Shouting that they would have their revenge!
Conclusion
With the food and Angela saved, the group repaired the car’s tires and got back on the road. Next stop, the Don’s party. Hopefully, the group will be able to convince him…
