Foodtropolise Session 1

The start of a new campaign! This one is a little more on the silly side. Small scale. The setting is zootopia but everything revolves around food… The group starts the campaign attending a community eating competition that is interrupted by the main problem the group hopes to solve.

Characters

A brief summary of our cast!

Lulu the Deer: The last heir of house Duskmorn, this sleepy and a little creepy deer loves her friends.

Cornelius the Horse Tar: The largest member of the group, this handy man horse tar is a diligent hard working draft horse with an appetite fit for his size.

Ashe the Fox: The regional Gunpla Battle Champion, this curvaceous fox has many fans! Sadly she has been unable to translate her fame into fortune.

Whip the Snake: She will succeed. Whip is the smallest member of the group. This sneaky purple snake is tougher than she looks! She has to be since she is a frequent target of cuteness aggression.

The Park

The group starts their adventure having to cut past large lines. The park is overflowing due to the food eating contest and they are on the clock to register. They are able to sneak past most but do end up paying for their tickets.

Inside they meet Pablo the Racoon. A friend of the group that runs the local card shop. His grandma, Chilla is the organizer of the event and a pilar of this tight nit community in the city. She directs the group to the hut they need to register in.

Angela the Fat Cat

Inside, the group finds Angela the Fat Cat. She is a member of the city’s most powerful family, the Fat Cats. Spoiled, entitled and rude, this cat is tolerated by the block since she does not cause to much trouble and is a big spender. She has not only enrolled in the competition, she has hired some of the other contestants to help her! The group tries to rat her out but Chilla is busy in the kitchen and Angela has paid off the refs!

The group decides that they don’t need to stop her from cheating. They will beat her anyway! Cornelius takes point as the main competitor for the group. The rest of the cast would support him. A few rounds of eating and some good rolls later and Angela is beat! She falls on her back, stuffed with empanadas and groaning. Cornelius is crowned the winner and wins a box of Gunpla TCG game cards from Pablo. Sadly, the group’s victory is short lived…

The Fat Cat’s Goons

The competition is interrupted by a group of sleazy goons that demand to speak with Chilla. They hand her a paper and taunt all the participants saying they are all going to be homeless soon. Chilla reveals that the paper is an eviction notice. The block is owned by The Fat Cats and Don Grepi, the leader of the family, wants to demolish the old block to make a shopping mall.

Conclusion

The news is a surprise to everyone present. Including Angela. The group interrogates her and find that she knows nothing about why this is happening, but she does have an idea of how to fix it. The group could steal a large food stash that is currently held by a rival gang. Deliver the food to the upcoming birthday party for Don Grepi’s granddaughter and maybe the Don could be convinced to spare the block.

The group agrees and sets off to steal a whole lot of food…
